There are many hurdles that come with being a non-traditional student. You want to attend college, yet you have no idea where to begin. There are responsibilities that you must factor in your decision to pursue your education such as work and family along with concerns of how you will pay your tuition. No matter what your concerns are, the Non-Traditional Student Services office at Arkansas State University has you covered.
The non-traditional student services staff is there to assist you in making clear and informed decisions about your educational pursuits. The office serves as a central location for resources. They provide support, academic and campus resources. You can also find information for commuters, learning and community resources. These services are provided to aid non-traditional students in being successful and stressing a little less by addressing the special needs of these students.
In addition the non-traditional student services office hosts activities for students and their families such as the fall and spring festivals. Food and games are provided for your children to enjoy. There is a student orientation designed specifically for non-traditional students; there is meet and greet with the chancellor and other campus leaders.
The non-traditional student services center office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m. Give them a call at 972-2055 or you may stop by the Student Union Suite 2046B.
