Two defending NCAA Division I champions are among the 400 wrestlers expected to compete at the 2009 Southern Scuffle wrestling tournament in Greensboro, North Carolina
According to the Burlington (NC) Times-News, among the competitors in that huge pool of college wrestling talent: 125-pounder Troy Nickerson of Cornell University, and Jarrod King of Edinboro University, the top-ranked wrestler at 165 pounds. Both won individual NCAA championships last season.
Thirty teams will be represented in the two-day meet, which takes place Tuesday and Wednesday, December 29-30, at the Greensboro Coliseum’s Special Events Center
