Can't be in Evanston, Illinois for the 2009 Midlands wrestling tournament Tuesday and Wednesday?
No problem! Takedown Wrestling Media (TDR) will again provide live, whistle-to-whistle coverage of the 47th annual Midlands Championships December 29-30, with a broadcast schedule that mirrors that of the competition. TDR's experienced announcing team of Scott Casber and Steve Foster will cover all the action as it happens from the Welsh-Ryan Arena on the campus of Northwestern University.
The broadcast, available online at www.takedownradio.com, will be dedicated to the memory of Adam Frey, Cornell University wrestler who passed away December 26 after a long cancer battle.
Final seeding will be determined by the tournament committee and posted at the 2009 Midlands official website on Monday evening. The two-day event gets underway Tuesday at 9:30 am Central.
