Most career and job fairs (like the Denver Hires Job Fair on June 24) are open to every job seeker in the area, but this week there's one just for our Colorado grads. This week's first All-Colorado Alumni Career Fair is being sponsored by the University of Colorado at Boulder and is open only to alumni of 12 Colorado colleges and universities (who have three or more years of experience in their field). It is hoped that this will be the first of many, so stay tuned, Colorado alumni!
Even if you're a recent grad, if you were on top of things in college and have been working for years at least part-time in the same line of work you're now looking for, you may qualify to attend.
Alumni from these schools may attend on Thursday to talk with employers about job openings and, possibly, internship/returnship opportunities:
Adams State College
Colorado Christian University
Colorado College
Colorado State University
Metropolitan State College of Denver
Naropa University.
Regis University
United States Air Force Academy
University of Colorado-Boulder
University of Colorado-Denver
University of Denver
University of Northern Colorado
This free event is being held at the Ramada in Northglenn (at I-25, exit 223)
1:00 to 6:00pm, Thursday, June 17
See a list of employers who are ready to meet you at the fair so you can tailor your resume and stand out in the crowd.
Get prepared now to make the most of this, and every, job fair you attend. Make sure that the first impression you give is an impressive one!
