Working in higher ed continuously since 1997 in three different states, Sam is a current Bay Area college faculty member. Previously, he taught English and Critical Thinking at San Jose State for five years, in addition to teaching stints at research universities in Colorado and Michigan. Sam currently is working on a doctorate degree in Educational Administration while writing a dissertation on organizational leadership and its transferability across vertical industries and markets. He is donating all his Examiner.com earnings to Team in Training this year as he trains for Ironman Canada 2012.
