Forget everything you knew or thought you knew about who was the best golfer in the world. Recently I wondered, what if professional athletes were ranked on a different platform, like a digital one? Do the world's best golfers have the world's best websites in terms of their design, content, and traffic flow?
After viewing nearly 25 PGA, LPGA, Champions and European Tour players' official websites, I have constructed what I would like to call, The Unofficial World Wide Web Golf Ranking to help address these questions, and to connect the golf fans of the world with their favorite players. The following twenty websites are ranked according to the quality of design and the comprehensiveness of content. Traffic rank was also considered, but to a lesser extent. Enjoy.
