Or, as much as he could touch on the subject.
With the NCAA asking the University of North Carolina to not provide comments on their investigation in to the athletic program and possible violations concerning sports agents Butch Davis, North Carolina's football coach, could not say too much on the subject most folks gathered in Greensboro, North Carolina yesterday were eager to ask about. Of course, the metaphorical NCAA muzzle is routine for on-going investigations so to hear that Davis would not comment on the details was no surprise.
Davis opened up his press conference with electronic media with a brief statement on the subject, saying that the investigation was on going and he would not be able to comment, much to the expected disappointment of the media, but he did provide some thoughts on the issue at hand.
