In the current crazy economic climate, the big coffee companies are competing for your cash with complimentary sample cups and discount deals. (Sorry about the alliteration. Blame it on caffeine.)
Starbucks gave away thousands of free pastries last Tuesday. That's over. Bummer.
But the Starbucks Treat Receipts are back. "Make any purchase before 2pm and enjoy any Grande cold beverage for just $2 (plus tax) after 2pm the same day. Just remember to show us your receipt when you return." That's going on until Sept. 28.
You can still get in on McDonald's Mocha Mondays for one more week. Visit participating McDonald's restaurants and receive a complimentary iced or hot mocha (special promotional size).
Now, Peet's Coffee joins the fray.
Visit your local Peet’s on Friday, August 7 from 2 to 3 p.m and enjoy a FREE Coffee Freddo.*
Enjoy the rich taste of freshly brewed coffee, creamy milk and natural ingredients, perfectly blended with ice.
*Free Freddo offer applies to an 8 ounce serving of the featured Freddo during specified date/time only. Limit one free 8 ounce featured Freddo per person. No substitutions. No rain checks. Valid at Peet’s retail locations only. Excludes airport, supermarket, BART and other licensed locations."
It's a great time to be a coffee consumer. Take advantage of it.
