Toast the high life: Hornitos Tequila 'The Highline' cocktail

One of the older ‘newest’ places to spend a relaxing summer afternoon in New York City is The Highline. This hot spot neighborhood attraction makes the perfect backdrop for afternoon strolls, learning a little about the history of the city and tasting a past and present culture along the way. In celebration of The Highline opening, meatpacking district restaurant Los Dados created an exclusive cocktail using Hornitos Tequila. ‘The Highline’ tequila cocktail becomes the ideal summer refresher after a walk along The Highline or relaxing in your own backyard.
The Highline – created by Los Dados
2 ounces Hornitos Tequila
1 ounce cactus pear syrup
1/4 ounce Sweet and sour
1/2 ounce Cava float
Combine Hornitos Tequila, cactus pear syrup and sweet & sour in a cocktails shaker with ice. Shake to chill. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Float Cava on top.
