Dewar's: The Marrying kind

John Dewar Sr. established the Dewar’s company in 1846 in Perth, Scotland. From that time forward the company has recorded over 160 years worth of innovation. According to Dewar’s, marrying deluxe whiskies was first introduced to the industry by the company’s first Master Blender, A J Cameron. This explains the trademark ‘Marrying Symbol’ that reads ‘Married in Oak’ that defines the tradition and heritage behind each bottle of Dewar’s 12 Year Old, Dewar’s 18 Year Old and the superb Dewar’s Signature. Dewar’s “White Label” Blended Scotch Whiskey carries with it the term ‘Never Varies’.
