While I can understand being upset with Obama and his administration, not too mention Congress and Senate there should be a limit. Unfortunately, it seems that the people of this nation are unable to do more than cheer and chant regardless of whom they worship now.
Recently I was talking to someone about this “phenomena” and they said to me, “Sarah Palin is not like that, she really knows what she is doing…” well, unfortunately for the average citizen in this country, she doesn’t have a clue.
Let us start from the top and work our way down. So far, everything she has done has been to promote her own stardom and to gather support across the board. She is proving very quickly that she is an un-trustworthy person who does not stand on her own very vocally guaranteed “policy stances.” In fact, recently she endorsed a Rand Paul in the Kentucky senate GOP primary over Secretary of State Trey Grayson in the race to succeed the retiring Jim Bunning. In a statement her PR flak provided to the Washington Post, Palin acknowledged that policy differences exist with Paul. Still, she's bestowing the Sara mark of approval. "I'm proud to support great grassroots candidates like Dr. Paul. While there are issues we disagree on, he and I are both in agreement that it's time to shake up the status quo in Washington and stand up for common sense ideas."
Here is the problem, first Rand Paul has very different stances than she states she supports, second if you look here at Cochise County, Arizona and the 2010 Elections she is supporting John McCain and ignoring the “grassroots” candidates like Jim Deakin.
No offense, but Palin is a liar, she is also a quitter. If you truly feel that Palin is a great person just remember, she quit in Alaska without giving a notice. How can anyone actually believe in someone like that? The sad part is the Tea Party movement (which I was a proud member of until this last debacle) endorses and supports someone like her.
Go ahead support her, watch what it gets you. You think you had bad press before for the few wing nuts that appeared and chanted racist bullcrap. Now you will be discounted even more, to be honest I would be surprised if this “movement” lasts another year. Shouldn’t integrity be important here? Sorry folks in this Examiners opinion having Palin speaking in her nasty drawling lazy voice as a keynote speaker has sealed the fate of the Tea Party movement in my educated opinion. Moreover, given that I predicted Obama running against McCain and beating him back in early 2008 I may be on to something.
I joined the Tea Party movement when it was against higher taxes and government misuse of the money, as well as big government period. I mean I am a Libertarian, but this, sorry, I have no more respect left for those who claim to want freedom for us. Especially since the keynote speaker has made it very clear several times that she would love to see, everyone who is not her brand of Christian ran out…

Thanks for posting this, Jesse. Palin is a fraud and a fool. Sadly, we elected Bush twice (or he stole it, either way he was president) and someone as charismatic and soulless as Palin could, and would, do anything needed to get elected.
If people need anymore proof that clueless fools that are popular can't run anything in government, just look at California and Ahnuld. When he ran I was utterly against him. It was obvious he was over his head and that, in my mind, he was stealing an election on false grounds, but people seemed to like him and thought he was tough. What does that have to do with governing in a democracy? Nothing. We need people with ideas, morals and the ability to mobilize the common person to put pressure on government to do what we ask and not what the lobbyists ask. Keep on writing and keep on making a difference!
Will take this under advisement, of course....
Jesse, the problem is finding a non-Christian with morals! Most have the morals of a bitch in heat, or the dog after them. With this in mind, you look at the bigger picture and find that a Christian is a better option as a politician than a non-Christian. You and I are friends, and I love you dearly, but I personally want not only morals for our country but a person that takes us back to Christian beliefs and reminds the entire world that we are indeed one Nation under GOD!
Jesse,
I am a member of the Greater Phoenix Tea Party Patriots. We are affilliated with the Tea Party Patriots, now over 1 million strong. I personally support Deakin. A win for Jim, would be one of the most powerful statements made in 2010. Until we show Washington, that we are not star struck, and complacent anymore, this country will continue to be herded like sheep. We are not associated with the Tea Party Nation; the for profit group that sponsored this weekend event. With an advertised membership of 17,000 +,they are just one voice of many around this nation. There is no unified, central organization, as the media suggests. That will take considerable effort, and many election cycles. Many members of the GPTPP, ran a very active campaign, requesting that Palin not come to Arizona in support of McCain. The fact that she is still coming, speaks volumes.

First thank you all for the comments.
Second, please understand that being the non-religious, non-Christian (and very moral) person that I am Palin has gotten me on a much deeper level than just "indignation." She is a cheap politician and any person can see that if they simply take the time to listen to what she promises and what she actually does.
Thirdly, people have stated via emails that they believe I am now flip-flopping...sorry, the truth is actually very simple. I state very clearly what I stand for, when the organization I am apart of falls away from that and begins to become something bad, I cannot continue with it.
Thanks again for the comments but before posting more make sure you read what I wrote...I was very clear.
Palin is a dumb ass, who I would have guessed slept her way to the top for all the brains she has. If she were to become President, the country would be the joke of the universe.
Obama may not have done much yet but its been a year and he is doing his best and I truly believe he is a smart man with the countries best interests at heart.
Palin has no brains whatsoever and The Tea Party was stupid for having her talk.
Why the Libertarian Tea Party would have a Republican speak is a mystery....especially one like Palin. It's all about publicity.
she doesn't interest me in the least
Be scared of her. Be VERY, VERY afraid. Lesser characters have made into prominent positions.
I hate to agree... but I do. She DOES seem to be all about the "look at me!" aspect rather than the issues, which we all know is what got Obama elected. Look where THAT'S getting us! 2-3x deeper in the hole than when he took office, and he still has the unmitigated audacity to blame it on his predecessor!!!
She's scary!
Glad to see this article and the one on Hayworth-- also scary.
