Cochise County – Reports (via blogs and Tea Party discussion forums) are going out today regarding Hayworths campaign instructing people how they can take their signatures off other campaigns and support only him. Yes America, while some of you may enjoy having no choice (as is obvious with the recent Health Care bill passage) I and many others like me want a choice. If you follow through with these instructions, you will be depriving others of their choice.
Here are just a few simple reasons why you should NOT take your name off Jim Deakin’s signature lists.
- In Arizona alone there are currently over ONE MILLION registered Republican voters, if JD Hayworth is that starved for signatures maybe he should start talking to people who ask to talk to him versus acting like every other Washington elitist.
- When you signed Jim Deakin’s petition why did you do this, did you do this because you wanted another Celebrity (like the current California governor- who has made it virtually impossible to protect oneself.) or did you want another Washington elitist, as JD Hayworth surely is, after all why did we not re-elect him in 2006?
- . Are you willing to back out on your commitment and if so what does commitment mean too you than, after all JD Hayworth is a Washington elitist and has a terrible voting record regardless of “new” information. Look for yourself here!
Real change begins with you NOT electing the same old politicans over and over again, these people who are running based on their “Star” power or worse yet based on lies. What happens in this country will be decided by how you vote, so make sure you know for certain why you are voting for the person you have chosen.
Your call Arizona, and Cochise County- is it time to stand for truth and the REAL American way?

I am not at all surprised by this Hayworth campaign action, as Mr. Deakin has met his signature requirements (petition signatures for ballot placement) some time ago, and many people signed for him months and months before Hayworth was even in the campaign. My husband and I signed for Jim long ago at a Tea Party meeting in our town.
It is certainly hoped that the good people of Cochise County and other towns and counties in Arizona will not go back on their signatures for Mr. Deakin. Mr. Deakin has been all over our state and has gone places and met with people that J. D. Hayworth will probably never interface with or meet. This action is shameful on Hayworth's part, and it will be interesting to see how he reacts (and tries to explain it all away).
So what is the system to remove a name from the ballot?? What is it that Hayworth is proposing?? Can't defend against it if we don't know what "it" is!! There are some people who have told me they have signed more than one petition who decides which one is valid on who's petition--or do they just throw both signatures out?? Guess Hayworth is having trouble getting signatures--that's good cause I understand McCain is in the same boat....
Good questions Joanne,
1. If someone signs more than one the earlier date is the valid signature.
2. Here is an example of one of the several blogs pushing this right now...(they link instructions) http: //icarizona.blogspot.com/2010/04/how-to-remove-your-signature-from.html
Fortunately I know that many of those supporting Jim Deakin are ethical individuals who would not stoop to the same level as JD Hayworth and his cronies.
Unlike my articles and blogs the ones pushing this do not offer the opportunity to speak up about it either!
I never heard of anything like this before. How can anyone revoke a signature on a petition?
Wow, I had no idea this could even happen.
Good ole JD always up to no good. Shame on his campaign. Smh
This is all new to me, but not surprising that other states have controversies such as these.
Look what happened when we elected a newby to Washington (Obama) we got ourselves into a deep, deep hole. We are going to be struggling with this debt for generations to come. Electing a new person like the ever so corrupt JD to office would be sending the wrong message. We need to keep McCain in office, he is the third most fiscally conservative member in Senate.
Not sure what this the real motive of this article is, but here are the facts:
1) We must get rid of McCain as he is a threat to our Republic.
2) JD Hayworty is our candidate that can beat McCain! Get to DC and get to wrok for us.
2) Deakin cannot get this done, he "should" through his support behind JD as Simcox did, but as you NOW FOR A FACT, Deakin is a spoiler, his campaign said they WILL vote for Rodney Glassman!
This is factual:
"Jim Deakin (fresh face and honest individual for Senate)
If Deakin does not win there is the Democrat Rodney Glassman who supports freedom almost to the same extent as Deakin- except he is
Democrat...BUT remember vote the person NOT the party..."
Don't let DEAKIN SPLIT THE VOTE and get McCain reelected. It is to vital to get rid of McCain.
VOTE JD HAYWORTH!
The hearsay part of this raises questions. It is not a dishonest accusation. I myself received direct information on changing my petition signature through a J. D. Hayworth support group, and there were names given of the support people for this effort, so whether J. D. Hayworth knows of these groups and supports them, is a question to be asked. Again, it is not an accusation that support groups are doing this---because I heard from one of them directly.
All the information was given on how to do it, so the idea that there are not groups within or outside of his campaign supporting the petition signature change is wrong. It may be legal to change a signature, but it truly is unethical. (it is a lengthy process) Here is the site that was given to me in the email to change my signature, cross me off blogspot
So, how does this "revoking of signatures" process work? An ambitious person could make a pretty good living off of this, I would imagine.

Suggest you contact some of the support/activist groups in Phoenix who are advising to renege on signatures. As I said, I received a specific email with the information on where to go to remove my signature, and it was from someone, and others, well known in the Phoenix area. The email title: Take your signature back, and it wasn't a false email address as I have received emails for almost two years from the same organization/person(s). The blogspot I posted and that you have referred to was given to me through this same group, with a final thought of: Thank you to all who participated in this action. and below is more
information from ......with the given blogspot
I don't know what world you are living to think that Jim Deakin is going to beat John McCain. My Cat has just as much of a chance of beating McCain. If you want "pro-illegal,progressive and cap and trade" McCain, keep supporting Deakin. My guess is that if McCain get re-elected he will be in the four front of Citizenship for illegals. Forget what he says during the campaign. The only person that has a chance of becoming our next senator is JD Hayworth. Deakin can only split the vote and get McCain re-elcted. One more thing, McCain and the Republicans are one of the main reasons we have Obama as President. They would not run a hard hitting campaign exposing Obama as the socialist he is. I have listened to JD on the radio, here in Phoenix, for almost 3 years. He has my vote and most tea party members, I know, Votes.
Got something to say?
