One of the stated goals in the “Victory Plan” for 2010 is working on re-election of all current Federal Office holders. It is the goal of the Arizona Republican Party to restrict your choices as voters by throwing support only to those currently elected Federal office holders. “These goals operate under the assumption that all current federal office holders are well positioned for reelection and face minimal threat to reelection.” (Arizona Victory Plan, 2009) Sadly, it seems that some of those in charge of the Republican Party in this state are not interested in allowing dissention either. Earlier this year it was decided that county Representatives could not show or state support for any particular candidates.
Show us the truth and stop restricting information and ability to decide. I know I do not like it and I can guarantee the people will not either. John McCain is about 2 points lower on the totem pole than Obama is in this state right now with some of the voting base, of course stuck in your ivory tower you cannot see that. Just remember the people attending the Tea Party rallies are fed up and so is everyone else. I have taken up to much time as it is, good luck and we will see what happens after this gets out!

It's the problem with both of the major parties: they say one thing and do another. It's all about money and re-election, not what's in the best interest of the nation or its people. Great article, Jesse.
My mom lives in AZ and loves McCain.
I agree. The Republican Party is all about maintaining the status quo. Kyl and McCain serve the special interests-- not the people of Arizona. On the state level-- don't get me started how disgusted I am with Jan Brewer and her Republican lackies in the state legislature.
