The Kaiser Restaurant Group has been opening successful, delicious restaurants in the desert since 1992. They have opened first-rate establishments such as the Prime Chop House in Palm Springs and Palm Desert, and the Hogs Breath Inn in La Quinta. Jackalope Ranch  is another fantastic place to eat that the Kaiser Restaurant Group added to their collection in 2009. Its delicious food, creative décor, and pleasant ambiance make this a desert restaurant a spot not to be missed.

Focusing on unique southwestern dishes and barbeque, the menu offers a selection of tasty entrees that will leave diners satisfied every time. Their signature baby back ribs are extra meaty and full of flavor. There are several other entrees to choose from, such as the king salmon, New York strip steak or grilled pork chop.

Happy hour makes all the items on the bar-food menu half off, and drinks are served at a discount. It lasts from 3:30 to 6:30 seven days a week.

The large restaurant is built on 7 acres of gardens and trees, making it the perfect location for events such as weddings and celebrations. With a waterfront, several patios, and a lawn area, there are many beautiful choices for customers to choose from for planning their event. The décor on the inside of the restaurant maintains the creative ambiance and makes dining very comfortable.

To one side of the entrance stands Lucky’s, which is due to be opened in September. Lucky’s will provide takeout, and will serve dinner on a patio that spreads out from its doors during the seasons of pleasant weather.

To make a reservation or arrange an event, you can visit their website, or you can call 760-342-1999.

Your review makes me want to check out all of the restaurants in the Kaiser Restaurant Group next time I'm in town!

This was the 4th time we tried this restaurant. We live in Indio /La Quinta and were hoping the place would "do good" All 4 times the service,if you can call it that, was very POOR . It took over 35 minuets to get our order, and this was just for lunch!!!!!!!
The food was great BUT the kitchen is just tooooo slow for us......

We both had the Ribs and Brisket Combo. Dry brisket, ribs were slightly more oist, but not really very meaty. The sauce was just boring, routine BBQ suace inferior to bottled store bought sauces. Garlic 'smashed' potatoes (their cutsey name) were not garilicy or buttery or anything but bland.
The citrus salads, even the cole slaw were much better.

I'm telling you the frozen packaged pork ribs from Costco have far more meat, are more moist and the sweeter BBQ sauce just blows Jackalopes away!

Also been there for the vaunted Happy Hour...also less than thriliing.
The patio/garden/waterfall setting have to be the draw here, because the food IS NOT!

Just came from your store, haven't been there for 2 months because we were very disappointed last time. Things haven't improved, the service was very poor, bar was dirty, food was awful. Had the brisket sandwich, it was dry and tough, no sauce and no flavor.

We have been here in the valley for 2 years and this has been one of our favorite places to go in the past, and one that we recommended to friends/visitors, but no longer. We'll try it again in 6 months or so, if your still here. We certainly hope service and food improve because we want you to be here, but we are very doubtful.

    Good Luck
