The month of March will debut this Thursday and introduce a party of epic indulgence and exposure for one of the nation's capital's thriving organization of hipster culture. On March 1st Three Stars Two Stripes...
Mark Prysler is someone you should know, because he already knows about you. This young ambitious writer builds connections like no other and has built a strong repertoire in the local music and nightlife scene of Washington, DC. The Philly native moved to the nation’s capital 2004 and immediately started branching out his ideas. He graduated from George Washington University where he created a DC hip-hop show on his college radio station. “Funkadelic Freestyles” became a staple in the college market for playing fresh cuts from DC’s original emcees, offering provocative interviews, ciphers, and live producer tournaments. The show’s popularity grew so much that Mark was invited to New York to open up as a college DJ host for The MTV U Woodie Awards in 2006. He presented the breaking artist award and was highlighted as a college DJ of the month on MTVU.com for his originality in presenting local talent. His creative spirit landed him a position programming hip-hop and dance hits channels at XM Satellite Radio. Along with performing voices for two music channels Mark helped conjure show ideas such as “1988: The Golden Year Of Hip Hop” and helped write interview questions for artist takeover segments. Mark Prysler believes that going out is not just something to do, but an opportunity to seize experiences to remember. And he is ecstatic to share the best experiences with you.
