19th www.enjoyyourround.com/, a name that even Google has a hard time identifying, recently converted themselves from a posh ‘Sky’ lounge to a sports bar motif. On the corner of 19th and I streets, if you are looking for a place to watch the world series, or any sports-themed event, 19th is the place to hang 
your ball cap for the evening. Even 19th calls their 4-7 hour a 'Happier Hour' and they are not exaggerating.
Last night, this place was packed to a point that beer tables outside of the bar were arranged for the youngsters trying to kick off their weekend early. Wooden floors, bar stoles, a lot of shorts, t shirts, baseball hats, sports jersey’s and plenty of late 20 and 30 something’s are hanging in this the ultimate casual abode which pays homage to Miller Lite www.millerlite.com.
Big screen TVs line the walls while the beer is flowing from glass to glass. If you arrived at 8:00, forget abou
t finding a seat – both in and outside tables are full. Loud top 40 tunes dance above your head while you select a meal from 19th menu. A few salads and pizzas plus approximately 10 different sandwiches or panini’s to choose from in-between one of your rounds of beer. Yes, beer is the main focus at 19th which, judging from the crowd, is clearly their main drinking objective as well.
Once the game is over, you can listen to live music, primarily cover bands, on Thursday nights starting at 9:30 on their small corner stage. Saturday and Sundays, however, are reserved for beer brunches with bottomless draft beers for $30.00 a head.
Based on the beer consumption witnessed last night, headaches are what the doctor ordered for most of DC’s Friday morning meetings.
Bosses should not be surprised if their team is running a tad slower today then last Friday.
