The International Mozarteum Foundation in Salzburg, Austria has discovered two of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's lost piano pieces. According to BBC News, the Mozarteum Foundation will reveal more details about the pieces to the public on August 2. Mozart's two discovered pieces will be performed on Mozart's original fortepiano.

In January 2009, another lost Mozart piece had been sitting in a French library before city library staff discovered the sheet music. The piece received its long overdue first performance in January and was played by violinist Daniel Cuiller.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart began composing at age five and had a prolific career until his untimely death in 1791 at age 35.

Some of Mozart's greatest works were composed during the last year of his life. Such works include the opera The Magic Flute, Piano Concerto in B-flat K. 595, the Clarinet Concerto K 622, String Quintet in E-flat K. 614, Ave Verum Corpus K. 618, his unfinished Requiem K. 626, and his last completed work the Freimauerkantate (Little Masonic Cantata) K. 623.

i think that wolfgang was a great composer of his time. too bad he partied and was put in a potter grave. i bet if the people reconizee his good works when he was alive, he could've been the rishest man alive.
