Sarah Palin is now calling for civil discourse on President Obama's health care plan.
The call for civil discourse was made on her facebook page. This is a complete turn around from her statement that called Obama's health care plan "down right evil."
Palin says there are many disturbing things in the bill but that people need to stick to the discussion of the issues.
"and not get sidetracked by tactics that can be accused of leading to intimidation or harassment."
Sarah Palin the former McCain vice presidential candidate asks supporters not to give:
"proponents of nationalized health care any reason to criticize us."
These calls are a break with the fear mongering comments she posted over the weekend. She mentioned in her previous comments "Obama's death panels."
Palin resigned as governor of Alaska on July 26, and there has been a lot of speculation that she herself will run for president in 2012.

Just cause she has insurance, and no job, does not mean the rest of us do. I have a job and no insurance. Was self employed and did have insurance. I want Obamas healthcare plan to pass so I can have insurance. If you dont want it, fine, keep yours and let the rest of the people take this insurance. It is called competition for insurance, just means the insurance company will have to lower their premiums or the people will go elsewhere.
Sarah Palin will say anything to bring down Obama even if the American people go down to. If she was for what is best for people she would have stayed governor and worked for the people. No she is just out for the big bucks. Anyone can be bought.
There is no denying the fact that she can profit from her base of supporters. Say a talk radio show like Rush has. I'm sure that was the biggest motive behind her resignation. I think she just lost interest in being governor because it could not hold her attention for more then fifteen minutes.
IT'S NOT OBAMA'S DEATH PANEL, IT'S PRO-LIFE REPLICAN ISAKSON'S!
Courtesy of Huff Post - all those scary Republican lies and grassroots campaign about Obama's Death Panel & Euthanasia.. BUSTED.
The big "Death Doctor", promoting Advance Care Planning while Obama was still a senator? Pro-life Republican U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson of Georgia!!
As a member of Senate Health committee he played a key role in shaping the health care reform legislation, successfully putting forward an amendment in committee that allows funds for a government-funded program that provides in-home services to people with disabilities to be used for advance care planning, according to the national Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
In '07 he co-sponsored two bills to encourage such planning, Medicare End-of-Life Care Planning Act & Advance Planning and Compassionate Care Act, and in '05 publicly signed a personal "Directive for Final Health Care" to encourage Georgians to discuss end of life care.
Career First
Country Second
Oh, so NOW she wants reasoned discourse? Too little, too late Sarah, especially after using your baby as a political prop. How loathesome can you get?
is there anyway we can use the death panels to kill off the GOP? being republican should be classified as mental illness, so that would justify our eugenics plan clearly outlined in the obamacare bill.
The fact that Sarah used the "death panel" comment just shows her ignorance. Seeing as how it was a Republican and not Obama who had the part of the bill that deals with end of life care put in there. She obviously does not know what that part of the bill actually contains but is just fueling this fear mongering by making those comments.
