Leland Traiman, RN & nurse practitioner, helped write the first domestic partner law in 1984. He coordinated the Berkeley Gay Men's Health Collective in the 1970's, wrote property tax law in the 1980's and defeated the Food and Drug Administration's attempts to outlaw gay sperm donors in 2004. He currently runs Rainbow Flag Health Services assisting women with their known sperm donors. He lives with his husband of two decades and their two children.
