F*ck the press, Mr. Mayor?
Filmmaker George Hickenlooper -- cousin of Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper -- shot a video series during the Democratic National Convention in August 2008. A trailer for the documentary appeared on YouTube last October.
A more candid, more entertaining cut is available on the Epoch Films website.
Hizzoner is heard to say, "I tell you how you deal with the press. You f*ck the press. Right?"
In another snippet, he says: "She thinks she should be paid a lot more than I am." His chief of staff says: "Because she's worth every f*cking dime."
Hick confesses: "I'm too cheap to spend the money on a good psychiatrist I probably deserve or need."
The clip also includes Oprah clasping Hick's hands, plus enviable logo placement for Heidi's Brooklyn Deli.
