Correction: The Atlantic County Prosecutor has issued a correction to their statement regarding the death of Mustafa Head:

"Mustafa Head also known as Mustafa Bundy is currently on life support awaiting a family decision. Mustafa Head, also known as Mustafa Bundy, 25, of Beach Avenue in Atlantic City, was pronounced dead at the hospital at 3:40 p.m. yesterday."

One of four men injured in an Aug. 26 shooting in Atlantic City died Sunday afternoon and authorities continue to search for suspects, Atlantic County Prosecutor Ted Housel announced today.

Mustafa Head, also known as Mustafa Bundy, 25, of Beach Avenue in Atlantic City, was pronounced dead at the hospital at 3:40 p.m. yesterday.

The victim’s family objected to an autopsy for religious reasons. A hearing in the Atlantic County Civil Courthouse has yet to be scheduled to determine if an autopsy will be performed.

At 2:45 a.m. on the morning of the shooting, Atlantic City police responded to the 700 block of North Virginia Avenue for a report of shots fired. They discovered Head and three other men suffering from gunshot wounds.

Jermaine Reynolds, 20, of Dr. Martin L. King Jr. Boulevard in Atlantic City, was shot in the right leg and right foot. Hassan Ali, 18, of Breadwood Drive in Egg Harbor Township, suffered a gunshot wound to the groin and a graze-wound to his head and Kendall Hudgins, 28, of Adams Avenue in Pleasantville, was shot in the chest, stomach and ankle. The victims were transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, in Atlantic City, for treatment.
