On Thursday, November 19, 2009, from 5 – 8 PM., Ralph’s on the Park is sponsoring a fundraising event to support its passion: animals. Guests will enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and “Catahoula Cranberry Crush” cocktails. Twenty percent of the profits from the specially created cocktail will be donated to the Southern Animal Foundation, aka SAF. In addition, animal loving patrons will be able to purchase SAF’s calendar, Culinary Canines, for $15 each. Proceeds from calendar sales will be donated to SAF’s “Spay Nola” program.

SAF’s calendar by Stephanie Hierholzer features photos of well known New Orleans chefs and their favorite canines, a recipe by each chef, and a wine paring suggested by Majestic Fine Wines. Among the chefs signing calendars on Thursday at Ralph's on the Park will be Chef Chip Flanagan, Chef Chris Montero, and Chef Haley Bittermann.
