It's official: Milwaukeeans love Toy Story 3. The movie broke records across the entire nation over the weekend, earning $109 million. The movie quickly became Pixar's highest-grossing ever for an opening weekend. Over half of the money made came from the movie's appearance in over 2,000 3-D locations nationwide. Nearly every Milwaukee theater that showed Toy Story 3 gave an option of 2-D or 3-D. Generally 3-D tickets were slightly more expensive, but many families chose this route as added entertainment for their children.
