The suspect could see his story unfold on the TV, and started calling up friends. He also called his mom, who said that her son "sounded stressed, slurring his words," according to TMJ4. At 8:00 p.m. that evening, police finally fired tear gas into the man's home. He was arrested just a few minutes later. The man has a previous record that includes narcotic-related charges.
