Baskin Robbins is celebrating its 65th anniversary by announcing that five ice cream flavors will be retired. The flavors Caramel Praline Cheesecake, Campfire S'mores, Apple Pie a La Mode, Superfudge Truffle, and French Vanilla will only be available until current supplies run out. Baskin Robbins will end the popular flavors on Sunday, which, in addition to their anniversary is National Ice Cream Day.
Past Baskin Robbins Flavors That Have Been Retired
Baskin Robbins has never retired five flavors at once, but the company wants to make room for even more flavors. The company likes to produce unique flavors with catchy names that reflect current pop culture events and slogans of the time. In the past the company has retired Whyte 2K Chocolate Overload, 0031 Secret Bonded, Lunar Cheesecake, and Beatle Nut, among others.

Wow! The pictures in the slideshow bring back memories. I'm really showing my age now. Great story and that commercial is just too much! LOL
I hear you! One of my favorite things was to go to Baskin Robbins as a kid. We walked there from our house and it was always a "treat." That's one reason I loved that commercial, too! haha
