Brandon Leonard, a former journalist for the Victoria Advocate, is director of new tool sales for S&K Grinding Service, a tool and cutter grinding shop in upstate South Carolina. Brandon won a state-wide award from the Texas Associated Press in 2009 for a feature series he wrote chronicling the visit of an organ recipient to meet the parents who donated their son's organs so that he and others could live.
