Think camp is only a place for kids to learn new skills? Think again! This fall, the Trapeze School of New York Beantown is going to be hosting a one-week intensive circus arts training camp just for adults. Students will be able to train in a number of circus arts like juggling, rola-bola, and clowning, as well as aerial apparatus including silks and web.

Oh yes, they'll also teach trapeze!

The Trapeze School of New York (TSNY) Beantown, located in Reading, MA, is a school primarily for instruction in flying trapeze. They also offer courses in other aerial aparatus as well as circus conditioning. TSNY normally holds children's camps in the summer; although, for the first time ever they will be running a camp for adults (ages 14 and up) starting in September.

If you are interested in doing an intensive training, but don't want to commit to a whole week, you are in luck! TSNY also hosts an 8-week intensive flying workshop for those interested in bettering their flying trapeze skills. These courses are starting as soon as now! so head to the TSNY website to find out more about the Intensive Flying Workshop.

The circus arts camp will take place in the evenings during the week of September 27th, with a final show on October 2nd.

The registration fee for the camp is $365 for the week and it comes with a nifty DVD of the final show! Space is limited, so head to the TSNY class finder and registration page to get your name on the list. Have a great time at camp!
