After signing third-round picks Jordan Shipley and fourth-round pick Roddrick Muckelroy yesterday, the Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to a four-year deal with second-round pick Carlos Dunlap.
The 6’6” 277-pound Dunlap was selected by the Bengals as the 54th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft with the intention of being an effective pass rusher in Mike Zimmer’s defense. After an outstanding sophomore season, Dunlap finished with with 38 tackles and nine sacks during his junior year while emerging as one of the top defensive ends in the country.
Prior to the start of the 2009 season, Dunlap was considered by many analysts to be a top-10 pick in April’s draft. Unfortunately, an off the field incident last December—in which he was arrested and charged for driving under the influence—hurt his draft status as most teams were unwilling to take a risk on Dunlap. The incident also prevented him from participating in the SEC Championship game against Alabama.
With training camp set to begin tomorrow morning, the only rookie that remains to be unsigned is first-round draft pick Jermaine Gresham.

Dan...get your facts straight.
Dunlap had two sacks in the Sugar Bowl.
Good job.
My mistake, thanks for catching that error.
