One week after dazzling the crowd with their cha-cha performance, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke received some heavy criticism from the judges after their performance of the Foxtrot on the second week of the hit ABC show Dancing With The Stars.
In the first week, the judges seemed impressed with the debut performance of Ochocinco and Burke, but knew the Pro Bowl wide receiver was a “diamond in the rough.” The potential was there, but they were far from satisfied with their performance.
This time around, the judges seemed even more disappointed in Ochocinco’s performance, as he and Burke finished with a score of 16 out of 30—two less than their score of 18 the previous week.
For the second straight week, Len Goodman criticized Ochocinco for his posture and compared his performance to his feelings towards the snow—glad when it’s finally over. Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba seemed to have similar opinions about his performance. They claimed the potential was there, but there was still a ton of work to be completed if the couple has any chance of advancing in the competition. He looked uncomfortable, was thinking too much, and needs to be more laid back during his performances.
Ochocinco and Burke will return Tuesday night to find out if they will advance to the third week of the competition. Fans can vote for the two by clicking here or calling 1-800-VOTE4-01.
