Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Antonio Bryant was officially introduced for the first time by his new team after agreeing to a four-year deal for $28 million over a week ago. He enters his ninth season after stints with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns, and Dallas Cowboys.

Bryant will participate with the team's offseason conditioning, which is set to begin March 29. The Bengals are in desperate need of another consistent wideout to play alongside Chad Ochocinco after finishing the 2009 season ranked 26th in the passing game. Cincinnati signed Laveranues Coles after T.J. Houshmandzadeh signed with the Seattle Seahawks, but he was far from the effective No. 2 wideout the Bengals hoped he would be—which is why he was recently released.

The offseason conditioning will provide Bryant the chance to get to know some of his new teammates in Cincinnati. After dealing with knee injuries for a majority of the 2009 season, the Bryant looks to return to full strength and live up to the type of wide receiver from 2008.

Bryant had the best season of his career with the Buccaneers in 2008 after finishing with 83 catches for 1,248 yards and seven touchdowns. He may not be the type of player some fans were excited about in Terrell Owens, but there is potential in Cincinnati for Bryant as an effective No. 2 wideout with the Bengals.
