This cigar was created to honor all the tobacco farmers that had their properties taken away from them by the Castro Regime in 1959.

Toraño Exodus 1959 "Gold"
The wrapper is a nice dark brown, relatively smooth with few veins. The cigar was firm to the touch. The aroma of the wrapper was rich, leathery tobacco.
I clipped the cap and was a little disappointed that there was some unraveling. The pre-light draw was smooth, easy, and had a slight hint of chocolate with earthy tobacco.
The smoke had a peppery spice sensation on the exhale with a clean, fresh finish. It really opened up the sinuses. I would classify this cigar as medium to full bodied in strength. It needed a couple of touch ups during the time I smoked it. Other than that, the burn was fine.
Towards the end, the cigar began to heat up but I nubbed it anyway. This was a great smoke and I would certainly smoke it again.
