Derek is a self-proclaimed mojito and cigar aficionado and believes the two should be enjoyed together whenever possible. A native of North Carolina, he was familiar with the state's history in the tobacco industry but it was a trip to Miami that truly peaked his interest. Derek now spends his time visiting local cigar lounges and searching out the best locations to enjoy the latest cigar releases and meet leaders within the industry.
