Romeo y Julieta tasting in Mount Pleasant

A representative of Romeo y Julieta will be visiting Mount Pleasants' Towne Centre Tobacco & Wine in March.

Mark your calendars for the first Friday in March. On March 2, 2012 from 6PM until 9PM a representative from Romeo y Julieta will be conducting a cigar tasting featuring the Reserva Real line of cigars.

Romeo y Julieta originally produced its world famous cigars in Cuba. Subsequent to the revolution and following nationalization of the cigar industry, the brand relocated to La Romana in the Dominican Republic. In their new home Romeo y Julieta continues to produce cigars for the American market under the direction of Altadis SA. Most cigar aficianados will agree that the Dominican made brand is comparable, in some cases better, to the Cuban brand.

Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real is one of the manufacturers' most popular non-Cuban blends. Featuring a Connecticut-shade Ecuadorian wrapper paired with a Nicaraguan long-filler blend, this cigar demonstrates a mild to medium body stick with a toasty aroma.

In addition to the cigar tasting - well worth the visit alone - expect the opportunity to participare in a craft beer tasting. This is sure to be a good time for everyone. See you there!
