Jeanne Bice’s Quacker Factory Christmas is one of the best cookbooks I have ever read! Yes, you read that correctly… it is a cookbook that I read!
This is a cookbook like no other! It contains many great recipes as well as short personal stories that will make you laugh out loud.
Have you ever watched the QVC channel? If you are anything like me, you probably have bought something from the channel! Well, Jeanne Bice is the originator of the, “Quacker Factory” clothing line. This lady dreams up some of the prettiest and striking clothing you will ever lay your eyes on and then has it made up for us to purchase and wear. You can only find her on QVC!
Mrs. Bice came out with this book in, 2006. The book contains some fabulous recipes such as: Chipped “Where’s the Beef?” Dip, Sugar-Nut Brie, Santa-Needs-Some-Caffeine Christmas Coffee, Pumpkin Kuchen, My Mom’s Pineapple Diamonds, Cream Cheesecake Dip, Life Is A Bowl Of Cherries, Snow Ice Cream, Deep Fried Turkey, Jeanne’s Shrimp Salad, Stuffing Made Simple, Don’t Be A Crabby Bisque, Christmas Tree Bread and so many more!
Jeanne tells us about her deep fried turkey experience and many other stories that allow us to see into her life.
The book is jam packed with colorful pictures and personal photos. Every page is a pleasure to the eyes. If you did not know better, you would think it to be a children’s book upon first glance because of all the bright clip art images.
Jeanne Bice is a creative, crafty woman who was kind enough to share her ideas with us in this book. If I had to rate this book on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best, I give it a 10!
This is a must have for your recipe and Christmas collection!
