Christmas Card Craft: Ornament
Sparkly Christmas ornaments! Doesn’t that sound like fun? This craft is great to make with children. It is economical as you can use items you already have around the house.
Remember all of those plastic containers you saved from your Chinese soup takeout orders? I have use for those lids!
Take a plastic lid and cut out a circle in the center.
Take a picture of you or your child, maybe even a family picture and hot glue the picture to the underside of the lid. It now looks like your lovely picture is framed by the outline of a plastic lid.
Take some beads, glitter glue and sequins and decorate the plastic picture frame.
Punch a hole into the frame or the picture with a hole-punch and tie a piece of ribbon through the hole.
Sign the back of the picture with the date and then hang it onto your Christmas tree.
Or, give it away as a gift!
