
Here is a welcome twist to a classic recipe! Make your crispy rice treats chocolaty and minty!
Chocolate Mint Crispy Rice Treats
- ¼ cup butter
- 3 cups mini marshmallows
- 6 cups rice crispy cereal
- ¾ cup chocolate chips
- ¾ cup Andes candy chips
Line a 9x13 pan with no-stick foil.
In a non stick pot melt butter.
Add marshmallows and stir until melted.
Stir in chocolate chips until melted.
Add in cereal.
Spread mixture into prepared pan. To make spreading easier, spray your spatula with cooking spray.
After mixture is spread into pan, sprinkle with Andes mints. Let sit for 1 minute and then spread melted mints onto treat.
Cool in refrigerator and then remove from pan by lifting out by foil. Place onto a cutting board and cut into squares. Treats will not stick to foil and will be easy to remove after cutting.
