What does Christian conservative Pat Boone have to do with a delusional cult leader who thinks he is the savior of the world? Nothing of his own volition. However, Ryuho Okawa, leader of a new religion called "Happy Science" has helped himself to many of Boone's hit records of the 1950's, 60s as a bait-and-switch tactic to attract converts.
Okawa claims to be the reborn Buddha and has changed his name to El Cantare. He has numerous temples in Japan and has set up shop in New York, Los Angeles, and in Redwood City. He teaches that El Cantare is the heavenly father to whom Jesus prayed while on earth. Buddha's latest incarnation in this man is said to be at a time that the earth needs his enlightenment to save it from its road to self-destruction. America has only 100 years left before it will sink into the earth, he warns.
El Cantare has chosen Pat Boone, Elvis Presley, Brenda Lee, and the Lennon Sisters to introduce himself to America on YouTube. Sounds like an odd selection but perhaps they're the least likely to litigate since they're either dead or their careers are.
Pat Boone is El Cantare's favorite. He has hijacked over a dozen of the crooner's old songs, superimposing his own message upon the backdrop of Boone's album covers. While Pat sings the lyrics, "Joy to the World, the Lord has come," giant words appear on the screen that read:
"The herald angels are announcing the Descent of EL CANTARE the great Savior God to earth. Now is the era of EL CANTARE. The great Savior has descended to earth. EL CANTARE is our heavenly Father."
The Jesus Christ that Pat Boone professes as Savior is seen by Happy Science as a lesser divinity whose second advent is scheduled for the 2400s long after the return of other luminaries such as Gabriel, Confucius, Mohammed and even Martin Luther.
Other Pat Boone songs that carry the cult's message include Just a Closer Walk with Thee, Beyond the Sunset, Whispering Hope, In the Garden, It Came upon the Midnight Clear, Will the Circle be Unbroken, Yield not to Temptation, He (w/Lennon Sisters), O Come All Ye Faithful, The Lord’s Prayer, and When you Help a Friend in Need.
Elvis songs with the messages underhandedly projected upon his portrait include ballads such as The Man in the Sky; We Call on Him, You’ll Never Walk Alone, Crying in the Chapel, I’m Gonna Walk Dem Golden Stairs, and His Hand in Mine.
Not only are these artists being intruded upon, but all the songs singing about Jesus are distorted to apply to a false messiah. Yet Jesus prophesied that such things would happen before His second coming. He told His disciples:
"For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before." (Matt 24:24-25)

Get your Bible facts straight, The Father of Jesus is not Jesus himself. Therefore, Jesus is not the Supreme Lord, the Father of Jesus is the Supreme God or Heavenly Father (not the earthly father Joseph). So obviously according to the Bible, The Father of Jesus and Jesus are two DIFFERENT beings. And no one really has know who the Father really is. So people can criticize all they want, but no one really knows the deepest Truths, do they?

I read his article in japanese from The Liberty this month. Through his dubious spirit channeling he suggested that japan make nuclear weapon.
