Bulletin flyer for the sermon series
Nationally recognized church leader Dr. David Jeremiah has decided to address a very controversial issue facing all of us here in America today, and that is the very real concept of a New World Order.
In his new 8-part sermon series "PRICELESS - The Hidden Cost of the New Global Economy", Dr. Jeremiah takes a look at recent events as well as scripture to help us understand what the Bible says about our financial future.
The series began last weekend October 10th & 11th, at Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon. I was in attendance at the 10:45 a.m. service and was very impressed with the structure and content of the first sermon entitled "The One World Order." Dr. Jeremiah addressed the congregation by saying this series was "an interesting assignment ... perhaps the most difficult I have received from the Lord."
He referenced Orson Welles' news bulletin radio broadcast of H.G. Wells' 'War of the Worlds' in 1938, Jimmy Carter's speech for a galactic community on the golden record launched with the Voyager spacecraft in 1977, and showed video clips of George H. W. Bush talking about a New World Order in 1991. He went back to the tower of Babel in Genesis, discussed our nation's forefathers, John Lennon's impossible Utopia, Henry Kissinger, Obama, The Pope, and looked ahead to the millenium.
Each Saturday evening at 5:00 p.m., or Sunday morning at 9:00 or 10:45 a.m., you are welcome to attend and hear more. Handouts include a place to take notes with an outline of the sermon.
Admission and parking is free. Donations are casually taken with no pressure if you would like to give.

Thanks for writing about this. I want to commend Pastor Jeremiah for his courage to address this very real topic. I look forward to hearing more about his sermons, may the Lord be with him and speak through him.
One can't ask for a more timely series. Twenty years ago, I was surprised to see End Times events beginning to take shape. Now I'm simply amazed that the scriptures are being fulfilled before our eyes in current events! I appreciate your story, Rene'-- factual and clear.
I hope that we as the church of Christ do more than give or receive from within, we must take it to the streets, voting poles and so on. We are the light of the world, we are the salt of the world, if the salt loses its favor what good is it for!
We have the truth, we know the truth, may it be the TRUTH that sets us free! Free of worry, free of strife. Only the PEACE that comes from Christ will we know Peace! Peace the Lord's way, not mans way. Thank you Mr. Girard for giving others the opportunity to know the truth through Pastor Jeremiah's messages in these troubled times, thanks for spreading the word.
