Poor Noor.   After being run down in a parking lot by her angry father last week, she never regained consciousness and has now died from her injuries.   The victim of an apparent honor killing because she left her husband in Iraq and came back to America to find happiness.

Her father, Faleh Hassan Almaleki, remains in custody, admitting his act was intentional.    His daughter no longer followed their religious customs and ideals.  She had become too Westernized, and brought shame upon the family.

If you have not been following this story, read my previous articles below and watch the videos that explain more about this event, and a similar honor killing here in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.

May God, the one true God of heaven, reveal His will and His desire to this father and his family who will now struggle with the consequences of these actions.

I know the family, I know Faleh. This is TYRANT BULLY killing, NOT religion. He always tortured Noor because she saw opportunities available in America and knew she would be on her own for survival. He is a LOUSY UNSUCCESSFUL family provider.
Time for an eye for an eye. Let him starve to death !

From Al Jazeera, Sept 07 2003:

"Jordan's Parliament has rejected the senate’s recommendation to uphold a law providing stiffer penalties for men who kill women in so-called "honour killings"."

"Islamists and conservatives said the laws violated religious traditions and would destroy families and values."

Faleh took precious money from the family so he could HIDE on the other side of the world because he knows he should BURN IN HELL! His version of that religion creates WORTHLESS individuals. Twice he forced Noor back to war torn Iraq against her will, once when she was still in high school and then a forced marriage. They should do to him like they did in 10/2009 to drug deals gone bad in Mexico, hang him with his throat cut!

Just came across this story via a New Times Magazine article.

Tradition has its place, honor has its place, but they should never supercede a parents love or devotion to their children.

Choice is the greatest thing this country can bestow on an individual.

Noor made a choice to be free of a cultural tradition that would put a womans 'individual' right to choose which direction they wish to spend their lives.

Its tragic that this path led her to be killed by her own father. Brainwashing will do that to a person. Whether its from a cultural, religious or gender bias.. if you are raised to believe a certain thing, there's a good chance that's not going to change.

The choice that Faleh made was an emotional one. In the end it was something he did to restore 'honor' to his family. The sad thing is, more people now despise his family than honors them because of the actions he took.
