Dr. Jason Newsom (38) was ousted from his $140K job for lacking sublety and speaking the truth. Apparently a tour in Iraq will take the knack for mincing words out of you.

The Doc was hired in the Bay County Health Department to promote better eating habits in the heart of Redneck Riviera.

He got away with:

"Sweet Tea Liquid Sugar."

"Hamburger Spare Tire."

"French Fries Thunder Thighs."

But when he put up signs:

"America Dies on Dunkin"

lawyers from and co-owners of a Dunkin Donuts with the backing of the County Commissioner who also owned a donut shop went after and got his job.

Well, that'll teach the doc. Now pass the donuts.

Perhaps the doc should have read this Bible verse:

Ephesians 4:15 - "Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up ...."
