How long is this Tiger Woods stuff gonna' be in the News? Did I hear it wrong? Did I hear a sponsor say they are going to miss Tiger Woods because he made them 240 billion? Now, because he is so typical of America he can no longer endorse their products?
240 billion is a staggering number. Isn't it half what America spends on Christmas? I wonder what is spent in Casinos. These are only a few of the examples that make it obvious we have the resources to put everyone who wants to work to work. The only homeless should be those who choose not to work. The only unemployed should be those who choose not to work. We don't have to move precious jobs overseas. The money is here.
Have you ever looked to see what the financial estimates are to end the world's water problems, starvation, dysentery etc.? We have the money.
Why are we so hypocritical? What has Tiger Woods done that is so contrary to the way more and more of America is becoming? I know everyone is not doing what Tiger did, but how many have? How many are? How many soon will? How many of those sponsors have? How many of our politicians have, but we cannot dynamite them out of office.
Why are we applying a double standard to Sports' stars? Is Tiger being paid for his morality or his ability?
Why are we so lukewarm, wishy-washy, undecided, wavering, no clarity on issues of morality? Most of us don't even like the word. We don't like the word accountability either. We don't want to be accountable for what we think, what we say, what we do or what we believe.
Who will face the consequences of drawing a line in the sand? Will we ever say enough is enough? If we ever decide to say enough is enough may I suggest we start with politicians? All of this slipperiness is just a consequence of, no, I'm not going there.
America, you can't have it both ways. Tiger Woods is a great athlete whether or not he gets the endorsements.
In light of what is going on in America, as well as the rest of the world, the amount of the endorsement money is criminal. Singling him out because he represents much of the morality of America is criminal also. If we are going to do this then when are we going to start eliminating politicians from the political process when they are caught lying, stealing, abusing their power? They are the ones running our country, not Tiger. They are the ones smacking us around from one hole to another.
