For many years the Business Fellowship held luncheons that brought our Christian business leaders together to share thoughts, ideas and visions for Tucson.
The Tucson Business Fellowship is a breakout outreach group designed and organized as a self sustaining Vision 360/4 Tucson program.
The general tenets of the Tucson Business Fellowship are:
a. To provide fellowship for Christian business people.
b. To teach, encourage and exhort Christians to employ Biblical principles in their businesses.
c. To be an outreach to business people that are not Christians
d. To provide opportunities for Christian service.
TBF formed two committees at the organization meeting. There will be a TBF Community Service Committee and a TBF Speakers Committee.
The monthly breakfast meetings (third Wednesday of the month at 7 am) that will be called Tucson Business Fellowship. It will fall under Vision 360/4 Tucson's business domain leadership and management structure.
"There is a need to stimulate our Christian business leadership. This also brings an expanded base to our business domain of approximately 200 influential and organized Christian business leaders throughout Tucson (with MOST of them being new to V360/4Tucson)," said Rick Stertz, 4Tucson CEO/Executive Director.
"This organization will expand our capacity for fellowship; continue to grow the membership of V360/4 Tucson (the 144,000 membership) as well as to have access to special project leadership, sponsorship and coordinated community service," said Stertz.
The first meeting held at the Rincon Market Meeting Room featured Mark Harris as the first speaker. He shared how Christian business people can influence secular organizations.
