Newsboys minister Christ thru Christian Rock at Six Flags

Labor day at Six Flags Baltimore/Washington was awesome...

One of the highligts of the day was Christian rock band the Newsboys.
If rockin out in Jesus name is wrong they don't want to be right. The band was led by new lead vocalist Michael Tait (formerly of
DC Talk ) who drew the crowd in with great vocals. Duncan Phillips, the best drummer the BCME has ever heard in her life, beat those drums so swell. The Godly lyrics, excellent singing and musicianry had  the crowd calling out for more.  The fans stomped for an encore and the Newsboys obliged.

We had Chistian praise and worship time at Six Flags.  People were not ashamed to lift there hands toward God.  They mouthed the lyrics of the songs we enjoy from the radio:
In the Hands of God, Lead me to the Cross, Amazing Love, He Reigns  and many more from their oldest and newest album. The show was free with ticket purchase.  Baltimorean and Washingtonian believers in the audience showed their love for the Lord announcing with lifted hands we are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ; no matter where we are we will praise God.

Labor Day was a success. In spite of the holiday it seems Christians don't ever get a break from being a light. This is our labor.  We are ever living a life before our God but the bible assures our labor is not in vain.  At the concert, the lead singer admonished  the believers to "get on the narrow path. You'll know you're there when you're doing what the Lord has called you to do."

Well Amen brother...

Great job Newsboys! You spread the gospel good news through song and Baltimore likes ;)
