Church Revival is a revitalization of the awareness of the presence of God. This breath of new life is brought on when a group of God's people gather in prayer and praise and holiness. This is a gathering of people connected by the same powerful urge to be moved by the spirit and renewed and recommitted to Jesus.
Pastor Curtis L. Johnson and the Valley Brook Outreach Baptist Church are sponsoring just such an event.
THE KINGDOM CONNECTION WEEK will be held March 14-17, 2010.
Speakers for the event include Pastor Curtis L. Johnson himself. He is Senior Pastor of Valley Brook in Pelzer, SC and newly appointed SC State Overseer of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International. Pastor Johnson has a very expansive spiritual-based outreach and economic empowerment approach to ministry that is intended to strongly impact and transform the community at large. Pastor Johnson will speak on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 9:30 am.
Also speaking is Pastor Herbert Crump, Jr. , senior pastor of Freedom Temple Ministries in Rock Hill, SC. The Church's promise of removal from shackles is its namesake as well as its testimony. Pastor Crump supports many community based organizations addressing social, economical and political issues within the community while spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Crump will be speaking on Sunday, March, 14, 2010 at 6:00 pm.
The Speaker for the remainder of the week will be Dr. John E. Guns. He is senior pastor of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr Guns is an award winning preacher on many levels and is the founder of a non-profit corporation, JEG Ministries designed to evangelize and empower. Dr Guns will speak Monday through Wednesday, March 15 -17 at 7:00 pm nightly.
