“You choose your attitude”. I’ll never forget the first time that I heard that. Yea right when someone does something, it makes me respond a certain way. But when I stopped to think about it, I wanted to figure out how do you NOT let someone make you respond a certain way? How do you control your attitude? Especially when you know that the other person is pushing your buttons on purpose and getting a kick out of making your attitude go negative? I determined myself to control my attitude and not give that control up to circumstances and others to take up and down.
DJ Joyner shared tonight the first part of this month’s Wednesday series on attitude at New Millennium Christian Center, Inc. He defined attitude as ‘position of the body and mind’. The position in every way - environmental, mental, spiritually, etc. Some of the things that effect the environmental are:
- your upbringing (those that raised you),
- what you take in (tv, music, etc.),
- the people that you are around,
- and many other things.
So join in on Wednesday nights in January to learn about how it’s possible to control your attitude and emotions.
