In a quest that is seen as wacky, way out there and as bitter partisan politics by some, the issue of Obama not showing his birth certificate to prove he is a naturalized American citizen continues. Is this really just some conspiracy theory along the lines of 9/11 truthers and alien cover-ups? At first glance it seems like it. But surprisingly many Americans seem to actually believe there is some possibility of truth in this claim that Obama is not a citizen. WND continues to run stories on it but most recently a congressman’s town hall meeting became overwhelmed with the issue.
Many people will immediately jump up and say, “Obama produced a birth certificate, what more do you want?” Apparently Obama provided a certificate of live birth (COLB) which is not the same as a long form birth certificate. The long form birth certificate should provide evidence that can be corroborated. The COLB provided on factcheck.org does not show a hospital, doctor’s name or anything else that can be checked, just a time and city. This COLB can also be obtained by non citizens.
Obama could easily release his long form birth certificate but hasn’t. Just to stop people from talking about it and to show that he has the most transparent administration, you'd think he would.
Many liberals, moderates and even some conservatives will probably read this and just say “get over it already.” There is a time to let things go and personally I already have. Not because I don’t think it’s important but because I think Obama will never release this information and even if it is true that he is not a naturalized citizen, that nothing will change. But should people just get over this? If it is true, it is the biggest scam in history. People never got over Bush’s decision to go to war with Iraq, should everyone just forget about this issue?
The argument could easily be made that if Obama does not qualify to be president then all of the bills he signed and executive orders he issued would have to be undone. This is very important and would cause huge upheaval. I don’t know if the American people would be able to handle this kind of event and the ramifications of the loss in trust of the government. It doesn’t mean the truth shouldn’t be fully investigated though, but I sincerely doubt it ever will be.

Is he a natural-born citizen? Isn't he? That's less of a question than any politician's refusal to "come clean." Secrecy has little place in politics, as many Republicans have recently found, and certainly something that is a specific Constitutional requirement can't be kept as a "private matter." To everyone who argues that he's not a natural born citizen, the simplest response is just to produce the documents.
By the way. I had to do so to get a real estate license...I had to provide a facsimile of the original, as recorded with the County Recorder.

If he is proven to be ineligible, there is no choice but to remove him from office. He will have committed treason by being a traitor to America, the constitution he took an oath to uphold. There is no choice but to revoke any laws he signed into law, unseat any supreme court justice he nominated. The real tell tell sign that he is not eligible is that his SELECTIVE SERVICE REGISTRATION was released by way of THE FREEDOM INFORAMTION ACT. It can be reviewed on line. IT IS A PROVEN FRAUD. It was filled out on a 1990's form and back dated to 1980. In his book he said he registered in 1979, that wasn't possible because President ford abolished the selective service and Carter didn't reinstate it until 1980. His own written words are not true. There is no other Selective service registration than the one to be a fraud. So if Obama never registered for the selective service, that is a pretty good indicator that he is a non citizen. The theory that Obama's mother flew to Kenya to sleep with different men get knocked up and then she came back soon after the baby was born can't be true. There is a record of Obama's parents marriage in Hawaii in February of 1961 (public record). Obama was born in February of 1961. Do the math. Obama's mom got pregnant in the fall of 1960. The only way Obama's mom could be impreganated and give birth in Kenya and get married in Hawaii is if she took separate trips to conceive and have birth.

It is also a historical fact that both Colin Powell and Bobby Jindal have immigrant non-citizen parents. There names have been both seriously floated for President. My ex-husband was born in Germany. His mom is German his Dad is American. At 17 months he got an American passport based on having an American parent. His parents never put together an eleborate hox to get birth announcements planted and change his birth certificate. Why would they? If you have an American parent, you are an American citizen. There only situation where the location of one's birth MAY be an issue is if you decide to be President of the United States (and that is questionable).

Besides, some people can't even get their long form certificates because of hospitals changing ownership, locations, or even scope of work. My girlfriend, for instance, can't get a long form certificate, only a COLB because IT'S JUST AS GOOD.

Birth announcements made in a newspaper are just that. They can be made weeks after the birth and they can say anything the person who puts it in the newspaper wants it to say. Still, there's some compelling evidence that the one circulating is also a fraud because 2 twins born to prominent folks at the same time are missing from that same birth announcement page.
But it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if Obama would submit a forged birth certificate to the American people during a most crucial time at election, that he'd also circulate further disinformation as well.
