T
he Seven Next Words of Christ : Finding Hope in the Resurrection Sayings
by Shane Stanford aka @stanfordshane
@dmguion comments ... " Every Lent we hear about the seven last words of Christ from the cross, and perhaps even listen to musical settings of them.
I was intrigued by this title, because of course after Jesus spoke his words on the cross, he died, was raised, and appeared to his disciples. And, of course, he had more to say. Stanford has provided excellent meditations of what Jesus said next, after the last words."

High Points and Lows: Life, Faith, and Figuring It All Out
by Austin Carty aka @AustinCarty
@MatchesMalone comments ...
"I’ve just finished @AustinCarty ’s book, High Points and Lows. I’ll be writing a full review elsewhere as promised to him, however, it gave me a great perspective on how I’ve been doing it wrong all these years."

Blue Like Jazz: Nonreligious Thoughts on Christian Spirituality
by Donald Miller aka @donmilleris
@4Brian comments ...
"I enjoyed this most because it lived up to its subtitle: Nonreligious thoughts on Christian spirituality. Honest, real – sharing experiences of others being Christ to him, and doing the same in turn – not religious, but being like Christ – with humor. God loves to laugh, and I bet Don Miller really tickles Him; he does me."

The Relentless Tenderness of Jesus
by Brennan Manning aka @Brennan_sp
@soulsupply comments ...
"I have been greatly stirred by all of Brennan Manning’s writings that I have read in 09 _ I am currently reading “The Relentless Tenderness of Jesus”.
Manning is leading a one man charge (and has been for over 2 decades I believe) to rescue the God of the Cross from the God of His church. Manning is quite capable of bringing tears to his readers eyes completely unintentionally."

Why Revival Tarries
by Leonard Ravenhill aka @LRavenhill
@soulsupply comments ...
"I finally finished over the Christmas break. It took me 5 years and it is small-only 165 pages. This book requires the preparation of the Holy Spirit for the reader or else you will throw it away. Sadly he too is as correct as Manning about the parlous state of Christ’s bride.
This quote from him must rock a believer to the core- “Ministers today are more concerned that their heads should be filled than that their hearts should be fired!”. he is now daiily tweeted @myparable.
Be warned … both writers will win no favor with those given to and persuaded by denominationalism.

A Clearing in the Wild (Change and Cherish Historical Series #1)
by Jane Kirkpatrick aka @JaneKirkpatrick
@Kelly4H comments ...
"Historical fiction set in pioneer days, headstrong woman learns to listen for God’s voice, and how to have a voice in a time when women were not listened to. GREAT read!"

Forget the idea of grace being effeminate!
Grace is macho, I'm sure you didn't know!
Come hear Pastor Joseph Prince, who'll tell you how so!
Grace is a male PERSON!
I DARE say you will never really KNOW grace until you hear what Pastor Joseph Prince IS telling about Grace !!!
