In Joshua Harris’ latest book Dug Down Deep he covers many of the basics of the Christian faith and discusses why they are so important to our lives. The book somewhat doubles as autobiography of Harris’ journey to faith and life of faith. He uses his personal example as the framework for helping the reader better understand their faith.
When I first started reading this book I did not like it very much. The first few chapters seemed very disjointed and unrelated to the topic except in a very general sense. However, as I read on I began to see the chapters come together and form a coherent book on the various aspects of the Christian faith.
By the time I finished the book I found that while it was not quite what I was expecting when I started it. In the end I found it very good and helpful. It gives a nice overview of the Christian faith and helps you understand why different beliefs are important to your daily life.
Overall, this book should be helpful to all Christians or anyone interested in learning more about the beliefs of the Christian faith. I give it four and half out of five stars.
