This week’s quote comes from Prince Caspian by C.S. Lewis. In Chapter four “The Return of the Lion” Lucy is talking with Aslan and asks what would have happened if she had followed after him even though none of the others believed her. Aslan replies:
“To know what would have happened, child?... No. Nobody is ever told that…. But anyone can find out what will happen.”
When you make a mistake you would always love to know what would have happened if you had done the right thing. Unfortunately you never will find out all you can do is go on with your life. Of course you can try to correct your mistake, but some damage will have already been done. All you can do is move on with your life, live with your mistakes and try to learn from them.
