Stranded in Paradise is written by Lori Copeland and is one of the easiest reading books I have read to date.
Tess Nelson is the main character in this book. Tess looses her job and is in quite a funk. She winds up with a one way ticket to Hawaii and decides to take the trip.
From the time she arrives in the tropical state, she finds herself dealing with one disaster after another. Through them all, you can easlily see Gods hand bring her through.
Through her unfortunate events, Tess draws closer to God and finally opens up to allow Him to call the shots in her life. Coming from a woman who was always in control of everything and everyone, this was a giant step for Tess.
